New Housemates!

We have 4 more people living with us! My sister Rachael and her triplets are staying with us for almost a month! We are so excited they are here! Brooklyn & Jeff drove them here & stayed for the weekend!

We walked around and had lunch at the Santa Monica Pier. It was nice when we had helpers. Now when we go places it is only Rachael and me with 4 babies!

Last Week at a Glance

Our little pumpkin is now 8 months old! I can't believe it.

She's getting better with the food but it still gets everywhere. She thinks it's fun to spit it out! Not so much fun for me to clean up!

My brother Matthew just moved right by us. He is doing his fellowship for child/ adolescent psychiatry at USC. I don't have a picture with him but he took this picture when we went to dinner! It's fun to have him so close. We get to see him everyday- he pops in for dinner! We love having a "Kramer" around! (Matthew's words, not mine!)

My friend Sarah came over with her baby Caleb. He is almost 2 months younger than Sophie but weighs twice as much!

Two Weeks in Arizona

Sophie and I just got back from Arizona after being there for two weeks. My sister Tarrah was about to have her third baby boy, so not wanting to miss the opportunity to be part of this experience, Sophie and I hopped on a plane and flew to AZ! I attached some pictures of our trip!

Since the baby hadn't come yet, Rachael, my mom and I got pedicures! Sophie tried, but her feet couldn't reach!

My dad retired from Chair of the Orthodontics Department at the dental school, so we threw him a surprise retirement party to say goodbye.

A week later, there was still NO BABY so I decided to get a dental check-up! I was so disappointed- I had a cavity :( and I had to get numb which I hate!

She may look like her daddy, but she has her mommy's really long tongue!

Swimming with four babies! Sophie fell asleep in her boat!

Finally! On July 1st, a week after her due date, Tarrah gave birth to a beautiful baby boy! I raced to the hospital at 4:45am! It was amazing! He weighed 8 pounds, 8 ounces!
